To some, going from the Navy to a career in sustainability might seem unconventional. Dailey Tipton doesn’t see it that way.
In the military, Dailey knew when he woke up each morning that he would be contributing to a larger mission. It’s the same with sustainability. The desire to make a difference has been a constant.
“Every time I’ve pivoted away from the energy and sustainability field,” says Tipton, “my life didn’t feel the same.”
Ndustrial is very pleased to welcome Dailey as our new Senior Vice President. His experience growing energy management businesses will be a major asset as we take our sales and marketing operations to a new level.
Dailey has been particularly drawn to energy management because it pays for itself. “Sustainability initiatives themselves have not been sustained unless they have continued financial impact,” he says. Energy efficiency has always had a robust business case.
He was especially drawn to Ndustrial because of our deep relationships with key clients, which he sees as a rare foundation to build on. “It’s like having Tom Brady on your team,” he says. (We’ll forgive him for that.)
From two Navy Achievement Medals to many business successes, Dailey has a distinguished resume. But it’s his commitment to the mission that we’re most excited about. In our case, that mission is to accelerate the optimization of Energy Intensity in industrial facilities.
