RALEIGH, NC – Feb. 27, 2024 – For the second year in a row, Ndustrial has been named by an international jury of experts as one of the 100 most promising energy and climate tech startups in the world.
After four phases of review, this year’s SET100 list was chosen from 400+ applicants across 75 countries. Judges included the Secretary General of the World Energy Council, the CEO of the German Energy Agency (dena), and many more.
Ndustrial was heralded for combining Silicon Valley innovation with industrial expertise to create an interdisciplinary approach to energy management. The company was also recognized for its comprehensive services and real-world results.
“I could not be more proud of the global reach this team has achieved,” says Ndustrial Founder and CEO Jason Massey. “Impact only matters when you can do it at scale. We’ve done that through a lot of behind-the-scenes work with our industrial clients, and we’re just getting started. This is a huge vote of confidence in our ability to keep scaling.”
The SET100 award is powered by Start Up Energy Transition, a global platform supporting innovation in the global transition to a Net Zero economy. Awardees will participate in the SET Tech Festival in Berlin on March 19 to connect with global energy leaders and investors and discuss how to collectively redesign energy for both people and the planet.
Corinna Enders, Chair of the dena Management Board, said: “Restructuring our energy systems is still the most effective way to combat the climate crisis. There is a greater need for action here than ever before, which is why innovative energy and climate technology solutions continue to play a central role. The SET100 list is therefore particularly worthwhile: It highlights promising start-ups and their great solutions and helps us keep track of technological trends. The SET100 list of 2024 can accelerate the energy transition and help us create a more flexible and sustainable energy system for the future.”
Finalists were selected in each of five categories: Clean Energy & Storage; Mobility & Transport; Industry; Buildings & Construction; and Quality Energy Access.
